Recently one such property, The Conservancy, announced it is opening a new model home sales center with homes to be built by NVR Ryan Homes. The Village of Gilberts has granted iFiber Networks a license to construct and deliver 1-gigabit fiber Internet to all homes within the Conservancy. The new Gigibit Gilberts Fiber Network will deliver bandwidth speeds approximately 100 times faster than basic high-speed broadband, thereby providing residents in the Conservancy with an unprecedented level of connectivity. Select U.S. Cities have also rolled out similar programs, primarily through the Google Fiber network. The network is part of the Village of Gilberts initial efforts to accommodate rapidly evolving consumer technology and to attract more jobs. With the faster speeds, area residents will be able to stream in hi-definition while browsing the Web, businesses can work faster with available resources, and educational and municipal facilities can provide services that are more responsive.

As the CEO of Gilberts Development, Troy Mertz recently entered into an agreement to sell property for 299 single-family residences in Gilberts, Illinois, to NVR Ryan Homes. His firm acquired the full 1,134-acre subdivision in early 2014, which included sites for 985 single-family homes, as well as 62 acres of commercial property.
Gilberts Development is responsible for constructing the land improvements such as roads, parks, open space and underground utilities and Ryan Homes builds the residence. The Conservancy residential development is situated on 500 acres of scenic space in Kane County, Illinois. The tranquil community offers several conserved trails and open areas for walks, bike rides, and a variety of other recreational activities.
The Conservancy offers eight home types, each featuring expansive, open floor plans in both ranch-style and two-story layouts. Its residences encompass as much as 4,000 square feet of space, including up to six bedrooms and bathrooms, either a two- or three-car garage, and an unfinished, full-sized basement. Conveniently located near I-90 and Route 47, The Conservancy will offer residents a peaceful, rural atmosphere in close proximity to the Chicago metropolitan area.
